Rwanda game Day 1
Wow this first day has been a mess. I never knew how complicated it was to be a world leader. I am a Belgian diplomat, with some power, but not a lot of money. My main goal is to gain money thus far.
I find my self-concerned with matters in Africa because I have made some deal to protect people who are in Africa, in exchange for money.
I personally do not seem to have any enemies, meaning I do not really have to worry about my own safety. This provides me with some security and help seeing as I am looking for the UN’s support in some planning I have. My plans remain secret as of now, but I can assure the public that they are of good nature. In order to achieve my support I have been making some other deals with the French leader, seeing as he holds a lot of power in the UN. If I can get him on my side, and he can launch my idea, as well as support it, then hopefully it will follow through.
In our deals we have not traded much and the only assurance I have that he (French) will follow through with his word, I hope that is enough? However I doubt it is, there is nothing holding him back, no black mail or power that I can use against him to ensure he abides by his word. If I held more power, I am sure he would be more concerned, and would want to make sure he and I were on good terms, but as of now I do not think it would matter to him if we were not. I am only the small country of Belgian, I preside he has bigger things to worry about.
It is a sad thought, but something that I am learning very quickly in this game is that is that people are deceptive and selfish, they only look out for themselves , and most seem to lie, cheat and steal in order to benefit themselves. In this game I even found my self in this situation because I stole money, I found one piece of money on the floor and took it, then another time I lied to the bank in order to give me more, but its all a game even in the real world and everyone wants to win
